  2. Why were people unwilling to accept Jesus’ message in Nazareth? What are some ways that we (personal examples) try to make our Christiantiy and gospel message more “culturally acceptable,” and how do we balance that with being good ambassadors?


  3. Read 1 Kings 18:4, 13, 19:2, 22:27; 2 Chronicles 24:20; Jeremiah 26:8; Acts 7, cf. Hebrews 11:37 in relation to Jesus’ treatment in Nazareth and statement in vs. 4. What does Scripture teach us about bearing the message of the King, and how does that prepare us to go and BE messengers?
