  1. Is there anything in particular that stood out to you from this passage?


  2. Jesus came to the disciples on the lake to “pass by them“ in an intentional theophany. What has God done to reveal His deity to us, and how do we struggle at times to fully embrace that?


  3. When Jesus showed up to the disciples, their first response was “it’s a ghost…” What are some times in your life that God has shown up? How might we be tempted to explain those times away, and what can we do to make sure we don’t miss them?


  4. How will remembering that God also works in and through the “bad” things help us be more aware of when He shows up?
